The items that we sell at the KnifeCenter are relatively high in value and vary greatly in weight. We calculate shipping charges based mostly on the weight and distance and not on the value of the item. You must be 18 years old to order from us. Some locations may have more restrictive laws and you are responsible for knowing and following those laws. By placing an order with us you are agreeing that you have read our terms and that you accept legal responsibility for owning the item you have ordered in the jurisdiction to which we deliver it. As a company policy, the KnifeCenter does not ship one hand opening knives to New York State.

NORTH AMERICAN SERVICE Please specify when ordering if you don't want us to backorder an out of stock item. We can generally fill all orders within a few days to 1 week.
All domestic orders are shipped via ground UPS unless otherwise requested. Destinations outside the continental US will incur additional shipping charges.
UPS Ground Service for the 48 contiguous US States:

$6.95 for the first lb. (up to 3 small knives),
$8.90 for a 2 lb. package
$1.00 per lb. thereafter
High value packages must be charged for signature requirement and insurance
UPS Expedited Shipping:
Third day, second day and overnight shipping is available via UPS for an extra charge.
One pound ($6.95 ground charge) packages can be shipped as follows:
$12.95 for 3rd day
$14.95 for 2nd day - These are especially good values for those ordering from areas west of the great plains states
$30.00 minimum for Overnight
Heavier parcels are charged more.
Signature is required for Overnight packages
Overnight packages shipped Fridays will be delivered on Monday
Overnight Saturday Delivery (shipped Friday) costs at least $45
6% sales tax for Maryland purchases only.
Priority Mail for All States plus APOs and Territories:
$7.50 for the first lb. (up to 3 small knives)
Price increases with weight and distance
Economy Mail for All States
$6.10 for the first lb. (up to 3 small knives)

This service is not available for government addresses such as AE or APO
Alaska, Hawaii and Territories:
We encourage customers shipping to Alaska and Hawaii to use USPS Economy or Priority Mail service. If you prefer UPS, surcharges will be added for these areas. Some services may be unavailable. Please call or E-mail us for specifics.
Priority Mail Service for APO, P.O. Boxes and Alaska and Hawaii:
We ship "Priority mail" at $7.50 for under 2 lbs with low value. Additional weight, insurance costs, address verification and other charges may be added as well.
Swords:
Small swords cost approximately $15.95 per sword Eastern US, $18.95 Western
Large swords cost approximately $17.95 per sword Eastern US, $20.95 Western
Very Large Swords (Claymore and Wallace among others) cost more.
Because of the length of time it takes to ship parcel post, we are no longer shipping swords outside of the US. We will make exceptions if all funds are prepaid with bank draft in US dollars- no credit card sales

OUR SHIPPING SYSTEM IN A NUTSHELL: Most packages within the US go for a total of $6.95 and get there within 2 to 4 days. European and Asian packages have been averaging about 3 days in transit.
