Pros: Durability, Ease of Use, Effectiveness, Overall Quality
The other day they had these stones on sale for $.99 cents. I bought two. One came as a white hard Arkansas stone and the other a dark brown Arkansas stone. These must be seconds, but that does not harm their sharping ability. The stones have small pin holes in them in various places. I guess that’s what makes them seconds. What I did was fill in the pin holes with super glue and then the next day hone them with hone oil and a diamond hone. Then they are flat and true and the small imperfections are filled and they sharpen a knife slick as a dog’s tooth. These are very good buys if you are short on money like most of us are now in this “Recession/depression”.
