One of the best survival items out there
The negative post comparing it to a lighter isn't fair, lighters have there place but lighters are more likely to fail in conditions where an item like a spark lite won't. This is easy to use, provides a bigger spark than a lighter & will easily get tinder going. This item will last practically forever & you don't have to worry about it running out of gas. Bic lighters are very useful for a number I situations, but comparing the two is apples & oranges.

For this yoy carry a lighter and cotton balls and you will save about 8 bucks and light a ton more fires.... I mean it does the job but its so not worth the 10 bucks u pay for it
