Pros: Handle Material, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard
its a nice concept, but the application is poor
ive used it for general camping, which for me means going in to the bush with a knife a fire striker and a tarp. i found that it came out of the box dull no big deal sharpened it up whatever. so i get out there on whats supposed to be a 4 day weekend trip and the damm thing was dull after small stuff my spyderco bush-craft knife ate through. overall im not very impressed i feel like the knife i paid two hundred bucks for should be as good as my $20 cold steel survival knife.

Cons: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Materials
not that great
i have used this product for a number of different tasks such as camping and bushcraft and i must say it is not that great it comes with a number of different features and extra tools all of bad quality and that barely work it is not a full tang blade and cannot endure much abuse and the edge retention is decent at best. it was dull out of the box and the blade rattled in the handle. i am not at all satisfied with this knife and i think it sucks

After you owned and used this, you will say "THIS IS THE REAL SURVIVAL KNIFE!!" I used it for hiking and camping all around java and borneo, Indonesia, and it prove its excellent, its not just a survival knife, its a survival sets : the knife and the case itself. Before, I use some combat knife that can easily chop a wood like an axe, but it is not much as great as this buddy. First the knife, it is a basic survival knife with a good edge, it comes with super sharp edge, blade thickness 5mm, 14 1/4" overall, it use polished stainless as material, with green hard nylon sheath and it has a 8" "effective" saw back that easily cut trough wood with minimal efforts. Its guard has a lashing holes. The stainless steel handle also has a waterproof cylinder that contain a latex tube, inside the latex tube you can found : fishing hook, line and sinkers, scalpel, latex tubes, tweezers, pencil, line and thread, safety pins, a flint, ordinary plasters and a compass. Such a many things in small storage place. Second, the sheath itself, it used a simple but effective quick release clip, green hard nylon belt sheath with leg ties. Sheath also stores a 7" overall skinner with 2 1/2" guthook blade. One piece stainless construction. Skinner features thumb ridge, ridged handle slot, lashing holes, flathead screwdriver end with bottle/can opener, OD green nylon lanyard. Also stored inside sheath is a pullout tray with latex powerbands for slingshot, empty vial and sharpening stone. Back of tray features ruler, S.O.S. signals and signaling mirror. Outside of sheath features several feet of OD green nylon cord and black coated stainless metal arms at tip of sheath that flip out to serve as slingshot. Back of sheath features sharpening stone. Weighing at 2.9 pounds. This is it! "THIS IS THE REAL SURVIVAL KNIFE!!"
