Lightweight and simple designs, the Promocion folders from Aitor are perfect for engraving or advertising anything you can think of. The extremely thick ABS handles do not have liners nor do they have a locking mechanism. Good detent in the closed and especially the open position make this knife a great utility blade that also has an adjustable pivot.

Pros: Handle Feel, Weight, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Lock Type, Ease of Opening
caution unsafe except when closed
what a dangerous knife. after just opening and closing the blade for a few days the back spring (which not only holds the blade tight but is the only stop rest material in the open position) started to slide up towards the blade open end so that the blade was stopped at the 10 oclock position of open. by pushing the blade firmly open on the floor you can reposition the spring and blade back in the open position . but close the knife and open it and the spring slides forward again and now the blade even when pressed into the open position is not firmly supported. a very dangerous blade to attempt any cutting chore. a sharpened butter table knife would be better and safer than this POS. i will be suprised if Knife Center continues to sell such a faulty product.

Aitor Agricola (spanish sod-buster)
This is a great budget folder you can use for utility purposes. Use it, abuse it, break it, buy another one. The adjustable pivot is a bonus, not something commonly seen on most slipjoint knives. The company claims they're steel is an improvement over 440 c but similar to it in its makeup. The knife itself came shaving sharp. I bought this knife with another thinking I wouldn't be very impressed with it, but ended up carrying it more often the the higher end folder i purchased along with it. I also just personally like the mirror finish on the blade, and the old school spear point shape. It's like an ethnic variation on the sod-buster style. Nice knife for a small price. Pleasantly surprised. (on a sidenote the blade on this thing reminds me of the douk douk squirrel)
