AMSC9: 9.5" Ultra-Chef's Damascus Gyuto/Chef's Knife
Al Mar Knives
The Gyuto is the Japanese name for a western style Chefs knife. It is intended as an all purpose kitchen knife to be used for meats, fish as well as processing vegetables- slicing and dicing. The blade is thinner than the traditional wester style chef's knives, but it is generally used the same way.
All stainless steel kitchen cutlery from Al Mar is exceptionally well made. This knife is modern in design and state-of-the-art in performance. The one piece ergonomic, hollow, all stainless steel handles are not only visually stunning and perfectly balanced, they are also impervious to just about everything.

Each blade is 33 layers of stainless steel with the center cutting later made of VG-10 Cobalt stainless steel. Strong while light in weight, each knife is hand sharpened to a perfect edge and come individually gift-boxed.

This knife is my secondary knife because of its superior beauty but it fabricates meat and fish just as easy as any other knife
