Cons: None
I use it on all knives, tomahawks and cleavers. It sharpens faster than anything I have used (you need to remove burrs with butcher steel afterward). I rated it a 4 only because the factory still puts a better edge on.

fine for knives you dont mind ruining
Used this sharpener the way it said on the back of the package and it shaved the coating of the blade down an eighth of an inch, in the mean time it rendered a $300 knife useless in 3 strokes.under a magnifying glass the edge of the blade was blunted, considering this sharpener sharpens by removing metal just goes to show that the angle is totally wrong and there is no way of correcting this problem.
