Handles are constructed of laminated plastic impregnated wood.

I got this knife and ended up returning it becuse the blade was smaller then i wanted, however this is a beutiful little knife. The workmanship is exellent. The blade is ground very well and the fit and finish over all is very good. I have seen similar knives at knife shows for $100-$300, so this one is a true bargan. Would be great for whittleing/carving wood or cleaning small game. Even comes with a nice sheath.
