The Tactical Hawkbill Folder from Bad Blood Knives is a well designed, devastating tactical defense knife. The handle is made from black anodized aluminum with a smooth finish. It's got a nicely contoured ergonomic handle, large ring hole for your index or pinky finger, and a stout pocket clip. For the money, these Bad Blood folders are some seriously nice knives.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Weight, Pocket Clip
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, None
nice blade
I like the blade. Its bit large for my hand. I didn't measure well enough. I am disappoint that it doesn't lock open which could be dangerous if one is not very careful. No instructions came with the package.

Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Handle Feel, Weight, Handle Material, Lock Type
Cons: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, None
Overall, not too shabby.
Looks good, feels good in the hand, overall a rather good value for the money spent. But, there's three things that drag the mark down to a mere 3/5 (it's a solid 3, but still). 1: The pocketclip isn't reversible. 2: The "opening-knob" only opens the knife a little, making it hard to get a smooth, fluid motion in the opening. 3: The locking mechanism is ever so slightly too long, or wrongly angled making it impossiblt (for me) to securely lock it with only one hand. It's not off by much, I'd say probably 1/4 of a millimeter, but it's still off.
