Description
BH154011SL: BHB40™
BLACKHAWK!

The BLACKHAWK! BHB40™ folding knife is designed for both utility and tactical applications, and is an outstanding combination of performance and value. Its stout, ergonomic handle features solid 420J stainless steel liners nested into textured, injection-molded nylon handle scales. The BHB40’s distinctive drop-point tanto blade is ground from 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel and features a unique slotted hole that balances a slim design package with positive one-handed opening. A strong lock back locking mechanism and four-position pocket clip complete the package and ensure that the knife is completely ambidextrous in every detail.

A Better Bargain is Hard to Come By.
WOW, for under $50.00 this knife is a masterful cutting device! Blackhawk is winning the war for innovative, inexpensive, super performing and extremely well made knives! The BHB40 fits the hand like a glove, is easy opening with the elongated thumb hole and the serrations cut like a saber tooth tiger. And finally, the BHB40 has a black clip (love those). Buy this knife as your everyday carry. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Great budget tactical folder
This knife is very solid for the entry-level price. The construction reminds me of many zytel handled lockbacks like Cold Steel's Voyagers, or Spyderco Enduras. The pocket clip is fully reversible for left/right, tip up/tip down carry and the handle is textured with the BHB logo and provides a nice grip, even with wet hands. The tanto point is nice and, well, pointy. But it's very strong for such a needle sharp tip. The stonewash/tumbled blade finish looks good and the budget steel is easier than expected to touch up on a ceramic or diamond rod. The lockback mechanism is very solid and there's zero play in the locked blade. The narrow thumb-opener slot takes some getting used to, but it works, and the entire package is easily cleaned with running water. My only regret is that I bought this at a retail store without first checking the less expensive knifecenter price!
