Pros: Pocket Clip, Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Weight, Blade Sharpness, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type
Cons: None
Good knife at a good price.
Knife is sharp and rugged. I'm pleased with it. Will probably use it camping rather than as an every day carry knife since it is a little large for my needs. I would buy one again if the need ever arose. Knife center service was prompt with the delivery.

Well done Benchmade
I've been a Benchmade fan for a long time. Excellent quality and workmanship-worth the money. I have been looking for a decent sized EDC knife with a nice blade shape. I used to carry the BM 440 'Opportunist' - liked the size but the blade shape didn't work for me. Also had the BM Megumi, but in the end it was just too small for my tastes. Along came the Benchmade Hunt series. After looking at the promotional materials, I was able to get my hands on a Small Summit Lake at a dealer and immediately liked the feel and heft of the knife. I have been carrying the Small Summit Lake for 4 weeks as my EDC and I'm very impressed. While I usually prefer a thumb stud/one hand opening found on many of the Benchmade knives, I have gotten used to using the nail knick opener on the Summit Lake. The locking mechanism is solid and releases well. The blade has real heft and handles most cutting tasks with ease. A couple things to know about the Small Summit Lake: it was bigger and heavier than I thought it would be, but that is a good thing as the handle fits well in my hand and makes cutting easier. I was unsure about the look and feel of the Dymondwood scales, but they look great and grip surprisingly well. All in all a well designed EDC and honestly a steal at the price. I have pricier Benchmade models, but the small Summit Lake performs as well as any of its more pricey bretheren.

great edc
A great EDC that fits perfectly in the pocket without taking up too much room. Quality build expected from benchmade. Solid lock with no play. Sharp as hell right out of the box. Very vintage classic look. This is my first day carrying it and I feel like I will have this in my pocket for a very long time.
