well worth the $
Has a heavy duty feel to it. Haven't used it yet to test out, other than the light. Hope to never have to use it. Bought it to keep in the car.

Excellent First-responder Tool
Solid build. Modest weight, and its something you want to "feel" that has weight or substance to it, but not that so its like lead. I call it "just right". The belt cutter is a very thick blade, so it should take a beating if ever needed (not flex or break). Folds nicely, but its not a full hidden blade. I'm going to keep it in the sheath pouch (nothing special about it - should be somewhat durable) that is included and leave it in my car center console rather than just keeping the tool itself on my back side of my belt. The window breaker tip is a heavy spring and should make a solid punch to a corner of a car side window with little effort. The spring is much more hard to compress than some other rescue knives I've seen, so I call it a heavy-duty usage tool. The LED light is a nice add-on, and doesn't get in the way. Merchant shipped fast, and the price was a very good value for the Christmas season, too. FYI: Took a bit to figure out how to get the light to work, vis a vis the battery compartment has a clear plastic circular liner you need to remove before you put in the 2 included batteries. Once I took out that little circle liner, the batteries could make a connection. That tidbit wasn't in the little how-to guide, so be mindful of that little issue. I have the yellow one (comes in black too), so it is "noticeable" when its on a pile of tools or in a tool kit tray. In all, very satisfied.

Haven't Used It, Hope I Never Do
Seems like every time you buy something now, they want you to review it. I bought three of these - one for my wife, one for my sister, and one for me. I don't feel like I can write a good review of this product because I haven't used it - and I hope I never do. Having said that, it seems to be pretty much as described. It has a belt/fabric cutter, and LED light, and a device that is supposed to be a glass breaker. The light works - not sure how bright it is, as I only tested it once in daylight, but it it works at all, it is better than nothing. I particularly haven't tested the glass-breaker, so I can't address that - what am I supposed to test it on? My car window? not unless I have to. The kitchen counter? My hand? I don't think so. At this point I am left to assume that this tool will work more or less as advertised. If it does, it will be worthwhile to have in our cars, even though I hope none of us has occasion to really see if they work or not.
