Pros: Blade Material, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Weight, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel, Pocket Clip, None
Great blade, delivers as promised!
As other reviews have commented, this is a large knife with a large handle and integral glass breaker. The handle is proportional to the blade and its stated uses. I do not find it overly large for my hand (#7 glove size, or Medium) and I do not find it cumbersome to carry in jeans or slacks, but this will be a matter of individual tastes. The blade is sharp out of the box, and the curvature is perfect for both thrusts and cuts. The axis lock is new to me, but very secure and easy on opening and closing with either hand. Jimping is adequately deep and well placed for forward and reverse grips. The handle is interestingly patterned (easily seen in the ads), though not very deeply. I could wish for a slightly roughened texture to enhance the grip, especially for fine work or fencer's grip.Balance is nice: center of balance is about 1 cm behind the blade hinge and center of percussion (so to speak) is about 2 cm distal to the hinge. As other reviewers have noted, the pocket clip is slightly loose. It does not result in the knife falling out of your pocket, but it would not be secure for some conditions. It can be switched for left or right pocket carry, which I find very useful.
