BM890: Torrent™ - Steigerwalt Design
Benchmade

This Ken Steigerwalt design makes for a perfect EDC (everyday carry).
This is a nice folder. Contoured G10 handles and a polished, deep pocket clip and a textured handle spacer looking sort of like file work make this a stylish item. It has a simplicity to it that is appealing. It is full sized and the weight is significant compared to some others, but these things are a matter of taste.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Material, Blade Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Very Sharp
I cut myself on this knife! We get a lot of knives in here at www.knifecenter.com and I handle most of them, but this one fooled me. Most assisted openers have a spring that gives some resistance when you start closing them. This one, however, doesn't resist until it's half closed. I moved the liner lock over and and started closing it and the blighter caught my thumb tip. Nothing serious- more a pride thing. OK, enough about me, this is a nice folder. Contoured G10 handles an a polished, deep pocket clip and a textured handle spacer looking sort of like file work make this a stylish item. It has a simplicity to it that is appealing. It is full sized and the weight is significant compared to some others, but these things are a matter of taste.

Cons: Handle Feel, Pocket Clip, None
Benchmade Quality
My carry knife is used for multi-purposes from serving as a letter opener to personal defense and everything you can imagine in between. The strongest feature is it's ability to keep an edge with minimum effort from me.

Cons: Lock Type

I am a knife collector and I wanted this knife for a while. The look and the finish is great. The Nitrous opening is easier and smoother than my Stryker. The only down side is the liner lock that I find a little thin and doesn't fell as solid as my other Benchmade.
