Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
My all time favorite.
I have carried this knife every day for many years and I love it. It is my all time favorite everyday carry knife. My criteria for a carry knife is simple. The blade has to be of a useful length. It should be possible to open and close easily with one hand. If I have to set it down while using it until I get two hands free to close it I'm going to loose it for sure. And I prefer something slim and light so it doesn't weight down my pocket. It is hard to put you hand in your pocket when it is full of some macho combat folder and their weight will make you walk funny. This knife is slim and light and I like the tip down carry. The assisted opener action is smooth and the frame lock easy to use. I love the shape of the plain satin blade. While it is a bit flexy due to it's light weight construction I don't use it to pry open packing crates or force open doors. For what I want in a carry knife, this is it. I liked it so much I bought another as a spare in case they stop making it. I have bought a lot of other knives over the years that I though might challenge this one for everyday carry duty and none have dethroned it.

Cons: Handle Feel
Excellent, Solid Knife
I had been doing some research for an assisted opening folder, and whittled it down (pun intended) between the Nitrous Blitz and Kershaw Leek. I went with HK because as a loyal Benchmade owner, I knew it came quality. And wasn't particularly sure about the point-breaking issues the Leek has been known for. I work in a warehouse environment/office environment which I'm generally cutting rope, twine and opening shrink wrapped pallets. So I was looking for something durable but slim enough to not be noticed much while carrying, and the Blitz does not disappoint. It was VERY sharp right out of the box, and exemplifies the effort and build quality associated with my other Benchmades. The liner-assisted opening is very linear, with a solid, confident lock with minimal effort. G10 scales are adequate, although I have large hands and a little more of a raised finish would work a bit better for me. The satin finish of the steel is beautiful, and forged from 154CM so you know its going to last. My only real "complaints" would be the blade did have some lateral play in it when delivered. I snugged up the Torx screw a bit, and all was well, and did not affect the opening. The jibbing on top could be a bit more aggressive, but will work in most situations. Knife Center was great and made ordering and shipment tracking a breeze. I particularly liked the quick-flick video one can watch for every knife they are interested in. Great buying experience and will definitely be a repeat customer.
