Description
BO01BO002: Exskelibur II
Boker Plus

Mike Skellern, from South Africa, is well known among many collectors in Europe and the U.S. for his stunning pocket knives. Now we are very proud to present the Exskelibur II, one of his custom designs. This piece combines elegance, high tech design and versatility in a unique way. The blue anodized titanium liner, contoured G-10 scales, traditional nail nick for convenient opening and attractive red fiber spacers combine to provide a knife that feels and looks good in your hand. The horizontal satin finished blade is made of 440C stainless steel and offers, along with the hollow grind, an optimal blade for all EDC chores. The protruding blade grind allows a convenient one-hand thumb opening and acts as a thumb ramp when the blade is open. A reversible titanium pocket clip (also blue anodized) completes this impressive package. Blade length: 2 7/8". Overall length: 6 5/8". Weight: 2.2 oz. Made in China.

Mediocre at Best
No where near as smooth to open as the bigger version and lots of cheap parts and materials.

Boker QUALITY all the way
The knife is very well made and tight. The blade is sharp right out of the box. My favorite feature is the weight or lack there of - extremely light which is perfect when ounces count. Primary uses are hunting, backpacking, and everyday carry.

Pleased Overall
I bought this as an EDC knife. I liked the looks, the fact that it is 440C and that it came from Boker. I was surprised to see the "china" on the edge of the blade by the pivot. Overall fit and finish is good. I sharpened it and reprofiled the edge a little. The steel seems pretty hard. Biggest con is that the clip is very thick and stiff and tough to attach to my pocket- needs a little tweaking.
