BO01BO010: Credit Card Knife
Boker Plus

A unique design from Massachusetts knife maker John Kubasek. With its compact dimensions, slim profile, and removable pocket clip, this piece offers a variety of carry options. Fits perfectly in the credit card compartment of your wallet, can be carried via clip in the pocket of your shirt, or on a ball chain (included) around your neck. This extremely lightweight knife also features a reliable and sturdy frame lock mechanism, titanium liner and high performance 440C stainless steel blade. The finger coils and handle end are made of G10 and provide a surprisingly ergonomic and comfortable grip. The perfect everyday companion! Blade length: 2-1/4". Overall length: 5". Weight: 1.1 oz. Thickness: 3 mm (without clip).

KnifeCenter note: The knife is not the dimensions of a credit card. It's smaller when closed, measuring 2-3/4" (6.985 cm) by 1-1/2" (3.81 cm). Open it's plenty big to do quite a bit of work. This knife is really different. It's very thin - especially if you remove the pocket clip. It can fit easily into your wallet so it can be accessible at any time. The blade, when open, is a good size and can perform most everyday chores. You could use it through an entire camping trip. It's easily large enough to cut twigs, rope and to cook. We're big fans of this inventive and well made pocketknife. We feel it is a great value and highly recommend it.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Weight, Overall Quality, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
It's quite elegant actually, very stylish. Small folded, but perfectly serviceable when open. Have arthritis in my hands and have a hard time opening clamshell packages, etc. And I seem end up around people with the same problem, but I can get out and open faster than anyone else, it's always with me in my wallet. (Hate carrying stuff in pockets, don't carry a purse.) Have had it for a year and felt it deserved a review.

Great money clip replacement
I carry it as a money clip. It's only slightly larger than the dedicated money clip it replaced. I like the design, it's clever. I've never owned the KISS, but same idea, the blade is beveled only on one side. It's sharp and I'm not sure about the other reviewers who thought the fit and finish was bad. I have the opposite view: I was surprised how tight the lock up was on something so thin and small. Also, I have the silver version, which shows off the mechanism nicely, and might have slightly different materials than the all-black one. That one is $5 less and you *might* be able to get it onto an airplane. My biggest concern is losing this at the security checkout because I already forget I have it on me.
