Cons: Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Handle Feel, Weight
Good Utility Knife, Not So Great Defense Knife...
First off, the blade steel is AUS-8. It sharpens up great. I gave it a mirrors polish on my Wicked Edge, but that needed to be cleared up. It is mis-marked on the website. The knife feels lightweight in the hand. The locking mechanism is very cool. Super easy to use one handed for even the most inexperienced user. When firmly holding the handle, the blade has no play. The reason I say the knife is not suited for self-defense is because there is minimal finger protection at the heel of the blade and the handle is very slick. There is no grip on these aluminum scales. When wet, the knife is not very safe to use. I don't use this one as an EDC, but I keep it around the house, and it is very useful for opening packages and household cutting needs. Cool conversation knife. Very unique and fun to show friends. That being said, this is not the knife I would want in my pocket in an tight spot or a camping trip.
