Not bad, but it's not comparable to it's big brother.
I got this knife just because I have the full size Bat and love the larger one. I did read the description carefully and noted before I bought it that the steel is different. Here's my thoughts: - The curvature of the knife is not as hooked on the Baby Bat, it's more apparent when you are holding both in your hand. The curvature is not limited to the blade, but the handle as well, so the baby bat, as you can see in the photo is nearly a straight knife. - Although the bead blasted blade on the baby bat looks similar, it's not even close to the steel on the larger knife. It may be good, and I haven't had it long enough to really judge, but it's not the same quality as the knife on the full size Bat. - Even with the additional protrusion on the blade, the less aggressive feel of the retention cutouts in the grip (I know I'm not describing it well.... it's the part your index finger goes to in a blade up grip, the place your pinky would sit in a fighter's grip) in combination with the shorter size of the grip makes it far less stable. This would be especially true in a wet hands situation. - The scales on the Baby Bat are very slick and smooth, without the texture which I like on the full size. Is it a bad knife? Not at all. does it feel cheap? No. I'm am only pointing out, that it's not a mini-me of the Boker Bat, but a knife with notable differences, more "in the style" of the larger Boker Bat.

Good thing I got it on sale...
TL;DR Don't buy this knife, the quality is very poor, it is comes DULL. There are better budget blades out there. I saw this on sale for $28 from its original $44 price, so I figured I would give it a shot since I liked the blade shape. Sadly, even at $28 it wasn't worth it. Pros: Comes in a nice box and comes with an allen key to take the pocket clip off. This is really nice, and I wish more knives would include this. Also, the handle is well shaped and fits well in the hand and the lock up is solid. Cons: Everything else. The handles are G10, but they have a strange smooth finish, which is anything but grippy and is in fact rather slippery. The pivot on my knife is particularly tight, and even after opening and closing it over the course of a few days it has not loosened. It appears that it could be loosened by the allen key, but the pivot screws are so badly forged that the allen key wont fit into either side. Because of this the flipper does nothing, and the knife has to be opened with the thumb studs. The flipper might work if your pivot was looser, but I cant say. Overall, all of the metal on the knife is 'rough', as is the quality of the finish. The finish is scratched and blotchy out of the box. I know the knife is made in China, but this is bad even for that. Finally, and worst, is the fact that the blade of this knife came DULL. Not 'not sharp', as many budget knives come but DULL. I have purchased crayons with a sharper edged than this knife. This is bad on any knife, but it is practically criminal on a blade shape this is this hard to sharpen.
