Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
I just got my sample from Boker Germany, and I tell you, it's a great knife! It's flat in pocket, tip up or tip down option, feels like a bigger knife in hand, yet has a blade about the size of the SubCom's, so it does not make the non-knife educated people freak out when used in public. Lots of leverage for cutting! A very urban friendly knife!I designed this one with a thumb stud, but Boker left it off, probably due to their new laws. However, for the Spyderco fans who carry tip down, there's a way to open the JC1 "quick". I wish it could be carried left hand, and came with a stud.Yes, I may be biased because my daughter "designed" it, and I fine tuned it, but I've said it before, I'll say it again: I'm a knife user first, designer second. This is a good knife!!!
