Boker Plus

Chad´s Tactical Folder. The subhilt handle design provides an unbeatable grip security. The forward finger guard works as a flipper for deploying the blade fast and easy, while the ambidextrous thumbstuds allow a more discreet opening. The double sided milled G-10 scales with their special Boker-Grip surface support the secure grip feeling. The four-way reversible clip allows various carrying options, based on personal preference. A reliable liner lock holds the titanium-coated 440C blade in the open position. Overall length: 8¾“. Blade length: 3 5/8“. Weight: 4.2 oz.

Unbelievable value and quality for money
There is one knife company which has very high quality knives being made in China, and it is Boker. I love the design of one. It is sturdy knife, though not chucky and clumsy as other similar medium-large folding knives. Feels great in the hand (grippy G10), and the blade is designed to perfection. Good tough blade steel too. The blade opens smooth and lightening fast, to the extent that it seems like it is assisted! For $50, this is the best larger sized folding knife currently on the market. You will not be disappointed

Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material, Handle Feel, Weight, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
I agree how useless the flipper is until after a few hours of use it's main use is as a hilt & to coax it open w/ a little wrist action. It is solidly built w/ a good blade after some sharpening out of the box. Although I would either take away the flipper or the studs the handle fits great & I feel safe w/ this blade, I don't think it's worth the $ Knifecenter charged on this one, considering their reputation.

More knife than the cost
I've had this knife for a few months now and waited to review it. I'ma big fan of sub-hilt knives so when I sa this one I had to have it. When I first received i only had a few moments to look it over, I was underwhelmed the action was stiff and at first i did't see the liners in the handle. I can forgive the stiffness because like all tools/weapons they need a break in period. But when I had time to examine the knife, the more and more I grew fond of it. No blade wobble and razor sharp.Nice jimping above the thumb ramp, and handle, It has a nice feel to the handle. Once the flipper action was broken in, it is very quick to deploy. One of the best buys here at Knife Center.
