BO01BO620: Boker Plus Whale
Boker Plus
As the head of a humpback whale rises from the surface, the back of the blade of the new Boker Plus Whale rises above the back line of this impressive piece. The curved handle blends seamlessly and demonstrates Jens Ansø's superior skills, providing remarkable ergonomics. The titanium plates of the liner lock on the polished G-10 scales provide minimum weight, and the bronze anodized parts add an extravagant but subtly sophisticated look. The 440C stainless steel blade boasts an attractive two-tone finish. Includes a titanium pocket clip (tip-up) for easy carry. A real Ansø folding knife that is sure to be a must have!

Humplike and nothing else
Decent knife, but not really useful. It does not have any practical value. Its design is pretty but not well thought-through since the blade has two different angles and it is too short for that. You cannot cut anything properly, it is as if the blade would start cutting and then it just slides off and you have to readjust your hand/wrist to keep cutting...i have sharpened it to a point where you can split hair longways, but i still cant cut a string in one short cut. Worst blade design ever. Wish i havent bought it. Pretty though, and it fits in hand well.

Anso Classic
A classy addition to my collection of folders. I don't care for framelocks (Jens Anso's usual work) but I will buy anything he designs/makes that is a liner or even back lock. I told him I really like this model and easily see the whale in it, he told me he didn't plan it that way, just turned out to look "fishy"! That's an artist for you! Anyway, this is a great price for a really classy knife. No machine marks anywhere, great ergonomics and quality materials from a quality design - add up to a great value!

Danish class with German quality
I really don't like the look or function of frame-lock folders, but I will buy anything Jens designs/makes that has a liner-lock. This is one beautiful folder - class and construction way above what they charge for it at KCI. Jens (Danes in general) have a great affinity for the sea, and the fact that this folder looks alot like a humpback whale is no accident. Shaving sharp, perfect ergonomics, good materials for construction, and a beautiful design - what else is there? Oh ya - the price: KCI has another winner here!
