Pros: Blade Material, Pocket Clip, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, None
Good Quality Budget Knife with some details lacking...
My Code Gray came with a reasonably sharp blade which is nicely centered. It cuts very well right out of the box. The pocket clip works pretty well - not too tight but not too loose. I like the size of it - on the larger end of the size that I prefer for an EDC, but not too large for that purpose. Pros: I really like the blade, the size, the materials and the apparent durability of this knife, at a budget price. I like the looks of the knife, and it feels good in my hand - if not for some of the sharp edges noted below. Cons: The liner lock mechanism doesn't always engage immediately and easily on opening, I have to be sure that it 'clicks' into place. The clip can move slightly side-to-side against the metal scale. There are some slightly sharp edges on the handle. Depending on the pants worn, the clip and/or the handle have a slight tendency to 'catch' or 'snag' the inside of my pocket. With a little more attention to detail, this could be one of my favorite knives. As it is, it's just a nice but rather run-of-the-mill budget offering with lots of potential that doesn't quite hit the mark. A little fine tuning by someone who likes to work on their knives might go a long way, but many of us would prefer to spend a few dollars more and get a knife that's going to meet the standard right out of the box.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Pocket Clip, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: Blade Material, Lock Type, Handle Material, None
Very nice.
This is an exceptionally nice looking knife which is well finished and well constructed. It is very light weight, and comfortable to hold, as well as very smooth to open, and has a good pocket clip. Something you should know before purchasing this knife is that it is not 440C steel but is 440A, the wrong information is given on the Boker site, a disappointment but not a surprise, I did think the price was to good to be true. One thing I don't like about the knife is the lack of a second liner in the handle, because I'm unusually abusive to my knives and have a tendency to really give the a run for their worth, and I don't think the aluminium handles will survive the experience without some good liners on both sides (and I'm not brave enough to try). It came sharp and will more than likely stay a display knife in my collection.
