Description
BO02BO190: Boker Plus Kressler Subhilt Fighter
Boker Plus

Dietmar Kressler, one of Germany's most famous knifemakers, is our partner in one of the most demanding and challenging projects we have ever introduced into our Boker Plus Series. The result was worth the long period of hard work - we are very proud to present the Boker Plus Kressler Subhilt Integral Fighter. The handguard, as well as the second hilt and handle butt are all an integral part of the knife, which is drop forged to the final shape. One solid piece of steel, without any separate parts like bolsters or guards. As an additional feature, we added a tapered tang. This complex and elaborate production procedure results in an extremely solid piece with a unique and noble appearance. As blade steel, we chose 440C stainless, which is well proven with its outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. Black canvas Micarta, fastened with stainless steel tubes, provides an excellent grip and an attractive contrast to the mirror polished surface. The second hilt provides an uncomparable safe and secure handling in any situation. The Kressler Subhilt Fighter is a real "Gesamtkunstwerk," which is absolutely unique within the world of production knives. We are happy to offer such a fascinating collector's piece to the knife aficionado, displaying the high standards that we demand in all of our products, to set the bar high with such exceptional items. Comes in a collector'scase and includes a high quality leather sheath. Blade length: 7 1/2''. Overall length: 12 7/8''. Weight: 15.5 oz.

Kressler Subhilt Fighter 7-1/2"
Even if one intents to use the knfe, after unpacking, he would hesitate to spoil its good looks and almost flawless workmanship. It comes in a very elaborate packaging which in itself quides you to use it as a show piece. High quality knife, especialy at that price level. It should and could have been sharper coming out of the box .Excellent servise from KnifeCenter, especially since they shipped this one out to Saudi Arabia. Very fast, very efficient, very economical. Well done Guys.

Beautiful craftsmansip
I mostly collect Randall's and other private maker's knives. When I saw this Boker, however, coupled with an obvious a kressler design, I could not resist. I searched many web sites for the knife and could not find. I had money refunded by two other sites, because they could not fulfill the order. Two things stand out: (1) the Boker-Kressler subhilt fighter is better than I had hoped, and (2) Knife Center delivered with fast service and a very courteous staff. It just doesn't get any better.

Boker Plus Kressler Knife
This is a knife that would serve as a good field knife. The integeral hilt and tang make this an extremely strong knife. It is a work of art reproduction of a knfe that costs fifteen times that of the original knife. It is flawlessly crafted. 440c is a good steel, perhaps not the best. However, it is more than acceptable. The sheath could be a little roomier. The knife slightly cuts the sheath when the knife is put into the sheath fully(necessary to secure the snap). This is evident by the shavings from the front end of the sheath. This can dull the blade at the front end. This is a minor problem that will either correct itself as the knife clears space for itself or a new sheath is made for it. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product!
