BO02BO253: Dozier Anchorage Pro Skinner Green
Boker Plus

Innovation Plus.

Legendary custom knifemaker, Bob Dozier, collaborates with Boker Plus for this exceptional piece, which combines his characteristic keen sense of functionality with an aesthetic appearance. This model is an interesting modification of Dozier‘s legendary hunting knife, the Yukon Pro Skinner, with a hollow ground blade that is extremely fine ground, and features artistic file work on the back - which doubles as a slip-resistant thumb ramp. The blade is made of AUS-8 stainless steel with a full tang for extreme strength. The ergonomically shaped green canvas Micarta handles features a lanyard hole and is set to the tang with six rivets. Comes complete with a leather sheath. Blade length: 31/2". Overall length: 8". Weight: 4.9 oz. Item No. 02BO250. Made in China.

Great skinner
Bought for a skinning knife. This is actually my favorite knife at the moment. Perfectly balanced in my larger than average hands. Sheath could be better but not really an issue.

A Very Nice Knife
I'll state up front that this knife is made in China, though this doesn't/shouldn't matter given the quality of the manufacture - overall this is a very nice package and both the sheath and the knife are well made and well finished. The blade is hollow ground in a way that provides a very thin blade almost up to the spine. The edge is good straight out the box, but could be sharper. The micarta handle has a polished finish and the rivets and lanyard hole are all finished flush with the rest of the handle, which feels good in the hand. I am not sure about the scrollwork on the spine of the blade as it does not add enough traction to act as gimping and so aside from 'looking pretty' (odd on a functional knife like this) it really adds no value. The sheath is well made, strongly stitched and is a snug fit for the knife. When sheathed only about 1.5" of the handle (1/3 of the handle) is left exposed, so this is not an 'easy access' knife. In summary, a nice knife with a good finish and nice edge.

Hunting Knife
This was purchased for deer/bear hunting. Excellent quality for the price. I do not know how the blade sharpness will hold up yet.
