I carry two fixed blades and two folders when ever i walk out the door. This is the small fixed, the larger is a Busse, for what that says about my desire for durability. This little gnome is my real goto knife! I can get to it quickly (worn as a neck knife), it's used mostly in place if a boxcutter, but also, the top near the tip makes a nice screwdriver for exposed slotted machine screws, such as sight mount screws. Handles clamshell packaging, the shape is good for scraping small bits of paint or glue off surfaces. Don't even know it's there until needed. Have even batoned it when a wood chisel wasn't readily available. Could hold an edge a bit better, but it is easy to sharpen. Would love to have one in s30v.

Pros: Blade Material, Handle Material, Finish, None
Cons: Weight, Sheath/Scabbard, Blade Sharpness
Small knife and extremely small handle
It certainly is beautiful and the overall finish is good. The blade is very big for such a small knife and the handle is extremely small, just above 4cm but the design actually makes it possible to get unexpectedly good grip. Unfortunately the hand quickly gets exhausted. Certainly not for heavy work. As usual for a Jesper Voxnaes design the steel is ridiculously thick. And very heavy for a such a diminutive knife. I have the old sheath which scratches the knife. The knife arrived almost dull and it did not keep an edge as I expected from a knife made of Sandvik 12C27. Maybe someone messed up during hardening of the steel?

I read the specs. I read the reviews. Knew it was small. I wanted small. Yet when I took it out of the box I was surprised. It isn't small...it's tiny. It is a cool little knife but it is very small. It is well made overall except for some minor burrs & some edges of handle that could have been less acute but these are minor & easily remedied. Love the overall design & blade profile. A little different but still very functional. Certainly sharp enough for my needs. May be made in China but gotta admit it's still well made. My main issue is not the small blade. I want a small blade. It is the small handle. The handle is so small it makes use for anything other then lightest of chores, opening boxes, letters, etc., near impossible. The sheath is simple but seems perfectly adequate. I have not carried it yet as a neck knife so I can offer no critique on that aspect. if what you're looking for is a small yet functional knife for light daily chores & is non-threatening to those sensative folks afraid of such things, this is a good choice. Very cool, but very small.
