BO02BO296: Boker Plus Classic Bushcraft Knife
Boker Plus
Bushcrafting knives are meant to be comfortable in the hand and provide no hot spots during endless hours of cutting and whittling. Plain edge is also a must so it can be sharpened easily in the field and a leather sheath typically rounds out the package nicely. The simple and elegant design of the Boker Plus Classic Bushcraft knife combines the artistic minimalism of the bushcrafting concept with proven versatility in outdoor missions. The black Micarta handles give the knife a high amount of grip and the characteristically deep sharpening of the blade provides excellent stability. Pros: Materials, Finish, Overall Quality, Weight, Sheath/Scabbard, None
Cons: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness
this Boker Bushcraft is a really good knife for the price you will pay for it. The materials that make the knife are good and the fit and finish, while not perfect, are just as good or better than any other brand of knife in this price range and make for comfortable handling Some reviews on this knife complain how it isn't like a comparatively priced Scandi knife and they are right. It's a better knife. It's your money but I know I'm pleased with how I spent mine.

sorry to disagree with the other good folk but Ive had no problems
the knife whilst a little thick I would say is on par with my Fallkniven F1 Fire sticks were a little bigger than I would normally see using any of my other knives but the blades thickness comes in to its own when splitting logs of a size related to the ability of the knife by that I mean its not an axe In short when I do go in to the woods it comes with me as well as my condor. In fact the only thing I wasn't happy with was I had to stropp the blade a little but come on guys its no as though you've paid the earth for it. Money versus value its comes back to the old saying ''you pays your money you makes your choice'' My money was well spent

unpleasent knife
This all started when my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said a new knife. I was looking at this knife for a while thinking it would be better than my condor knives, well I got it and boy was I wrong. The blade is twice as thick as it needs to be, and the edge is so messed up that it can’t do the bushcraft stuff is was made for. THIS IS NO SCANDI GRIND. It can only be called an ax grind. It will not feather stick; it will not throw sparks, and will be a pain to sharpen. The night I got it my wife wanted smores so I tried to start a fire with it and had to use a lighter. Then I want to make a marshmallow stick for her to use and this knife was not up to the task. Please save your time and money buy a Mora or a Condor. I wish I could send this back but I would rather deal with an unpleasant knife than an unpleasant wife.
