BO02BO451: Boker Plus SM-10T
The second fixed blade knife from US custom knife maker Sal Manaro is based on a design that Sal developed for a SWAT officer - a knife for rough deployments, rugged, strong and reliable. The solid 6.7 mm thick construction from a 440C piece is close to what one would call indestructible. The hollow grind on the long blade ensures breathtaking sharpness and a choil on the short blade ensures a high degree of solidity. The grip structure of the G-10 scales, typical for Sal Manaro, gives the knife a reliable and secure grip under all circumstances. Includes lanyard hole and rugged kydex sheath with belt adapter.

Pros: Finish, Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Overall Quality, Materials, None
Cons: Weight
One Heavy Duty Tool
I was surprised when I received this knife just how sturdy it is - it's a seriously thick blade designed for heavy duty daily work. Sharpness was good, the sheath is strong and holds it well. If you are looking for something for horizontal carry along the belt line, I would think twice, the handle is thick and heavy and puts the point of balance squarely in your palm. However, vertical carry is a breeze. Again, I was surprisingly pleased with the strength of the design. the physical weight is the only downside I saw. However, if you know what you are getting up front, that should not be a problem.
