Description
BO1004: Lockback Folder, Rosewood Handles
Boker

Features a 2" Solingen stainless steel locking blade, brass liners and richly finished rosewood handles. Nickel silver bolsters. Convenient "pocket size". Overall length: 4-1/2". Made in Solingen, Germany.
Lockback
Lockback
The original locking mechanism. It can be found mid spine or at the bottom of the handle, and it provides tight lockup that will wear well.
Made in Germany
Made in Germany
The original steel Capital of the World: Solingen, Germany produces some of the best Kitchen knives and straight razors money can buy.
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel
Utilizes a wide variety of alloys but all contain a minimum of 10.5% Chromium content. Stainless steels will not corrode, rust, or oxidize but are not completely stain-proof so the title is somewhat of a misnomer.
Wood Handles
Wood Handles
Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.

Pros: Handle Material, Handle Feel, Lock Type, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness, Weight, Sheath, Blade Material, Overall Quality
Cute ,but never use it much, isnt that sharp
An cool small vest pocket knife but the usefulness of it when compared to, say an Al mar osprey is questionable. It knife fell into a void around other nicer, sharper knives that I desired to carry more. Fit and finish is just average, shield didn't fit perfectly, and the blade could have been polished better. The edge grind was horrendous P.S. Knifecenter has the slowest shipping of any US based company I have dealt with. Expect 8-14 day for the free shipping

Pros: Overall Quality, Lock Type, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Feel, Handle Material, None
Cons: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness
Well made, deserves better steel
A good back-up to use as alternative to whipping out a more intimidating blade. The mini design is fun, but, In my opinion a little blade like this needs to be sharper, some kind of 440 would not be to much to ask for. Roughrider uses em' on their $10 knives. I'm just about done with 420, because I don't want to carry a sharpening steel, and we don't use rocks to sharpen our knifes much anymore!
