Description
BO1004D: Damascus African Thuya
Boker

Museum quality.

Mosaic Damascus, handforged by the world famous knifemaker Ed Schempp.

Damascus steel blades are handforged in the painstaking tradition perfected over 2,000 years ago. It is a process that reaches perfection in the talented hands of Boker's master craftsman, whose keen eye and sharp skills give birth to blades of exquisite metallic artistry, each composed of steel hundreds of layers, thick, each as unique as a fingerprint. A handsome wooden gift box is included.

The 2" drop point blade is a work of art, consisting of 300 separate layers of Damascus steel. Handles are African thuya wood. Closed length: 2-1/2". Weight: 1.3 oz. Made in Solingen, Germany.

Pros: Lock Type, Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Beautiful knife
This is a beautiful knife. I have collected and traded knives for over 20 years. My son gave me this knife for Christmas. It has to be one of the most beatufil knives that I own and I own quite a few knives. The metal workmanship is one of a kind. I find nothing wrong with the knife. It is not a daily user like my kissing cranes, but it is a collectors piece.
