BO1054: Boker Leo Damascus II
If you are looking for a truly rare and unique piece of work, this one is a must for your collection. The Leo-Damascus, a high performance steel, was made available to Boker through a noted European Damascus forger, Markus Balbach. This particular steel was forged out of the barrel of the German battle tank Leopard I, thus the name Leo Damascus. This specialty steel is not available on the market and there is no material number even assigned to it because it is only used by the military. Herr Balbach was fortunate to acquire some of it for Boker exclusively.
Each knife includes a certificate of authenticity and gift box. Serialized.
Blade length: 3-3/4"
Overall length: 8-1/8"
The successor of Boker's first knife with a Damascus blade forged out of the barrel of the German battle tank LEOPARD I.
The edge holding ability is much higher compared to what other steel can achieve.
Markus Balbach's capabilities are proven by his newest pattern of "large pyramids".
The clip can be switched for tip-up or tip-down carry.
