BO110130: Turbine

For this model, we chose the name Turbine, which stands for power and tough reliability. A knife that fulfills the tactical demand without being menacing. The rosewood inset from Karl Nill adds an important contribution. The 4mm thick blade, made of X-15 T.N. stainless steel, locks open with a 1.5mm liner lock that is rock solid. Precise CNC machined AlMgSi1 handle. The finger grooves provide a secure, comfortable grip, and the distinctive handguard at the end of the blade allows for safe handling, as well as fast opening action for the experienced user. The pocket clip allows tip-up or tip-down carry for added convenience. The first 500 pieces will be serialized. Overall length: 8 7/8". Blade length: 3 7/8". Weight: 5.5 oz. Made in Solingen, Germany.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
A Class Act
I bought this knife in September 2015 and was disappointed in its arrival - when opened and locked, the blade had wobble and play in it. I returned it directly Boker with an explanation, and with no questions asked, they sent me a new one with a handwritten note assuring me the replacement fit the quality control standards they have for this knife. That's the guarantee you have when you deal with a class act company like Boker. Okay, now for the knife. This thing locks up like a bank vault and is as smooth as butter in opening and closing. Its not an assisted opener like many of the newer blades out there, but if that's not a deal killer for you, you won't regret this knife. For EDC, its a little big, but makes up for that with its light weight. The blade was razor sharp and appears to be holding its edge pretty well. I'm a Boker fan, and would highly recommend this knife.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
Carried a name brand knife for 5 years every day. Used it for a pry bar, door key for locked doors and sometimes as a cutting tool. I have been looking for an "every day carry" for a couple of years, to replace my old knife. The Boker seemed to fit the bill. The knife is extremely smooth opening. The knife can be opened with a flick of the wrist, without using the thumb stud of flipper. The quality of the knife is excellent and the blade seems to be holding it's sharpness very well. Very pleased with this knife and would recommend it to someone who is going to use a knife for various tasks.

Amazing quality
No negatives at all just a knife with the quality to be worth the price. Only thing is finding a small enough Allen whench to change pocket clip.
