BO110617DLC: Boker Haddock DLC
Pocket Knife by Boker. The famous model "Haddock" from Jens Ansø with an elegant matte black blade finish. The extremely thin DLC coating provides a very unique appearance, with the blade finish still visible through the coating. It is also extremely resistant against physical and environmental factors, taking the already excellent corrosion resistance a step further. A new member of the international Boker design team is Jens Ansø from Denmark. We are proud to offer this modern piece which features, with its massive dimensions and two-way clip, all the criteria of a true pocket knife and is sure to inspire the ambitious user and collector. The upper scale is made of contoured, CNC machined G-10, and the back liner consists of 3mm of solid titanium. This construction allows for an excellent feel and grip, and keeps it lightweight. The exotic shaped blade is made of cobalt N690BO steel, is 5mm thick, and features a precise hollow grind that is razor sharp and perfectly balanced. Blade length: 3-3/8". Overall length: 7-5/8". Weight: 4 oz. Made in Solingen, Germany.
N690 is an Austrian steel with adequate hardness and superb corrosion resistant properties. This a great steel for use around marine environments.
One of the older steel Capitals of the World: Solingen, Germany produces some of the best Kitchen knives and straight razors money can buy.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Formed in a sheet under high pressure by combining fiberglass and an epoxy resin binder. These handles are lightweight and shaped to ensure a solid grip.
