Description
BO110618: Boker Cox
Boker

The overwhelming success of the Haddock (model 110617) prompted designer Jens Anso to provide a little brother. The difference is not only in size, but the Cox model is a slip joint design, with the blade held open by the tension of the backspring, just like a traditional pocket knife. The clip can be mounted for tip up or tip down carry. The blade steel is N690BO, for its superior edge holding capabilities. The 4mm hollow ground blade unites cutting ability with outstanding strength. Blade length: 2-3/4". Overall length: 6-3/8". Weight: 4 oz. Made in Solingen, Germany.

Pros: Handle Material, Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Great little slip joint
I got a Cox becaue I really like my Haddock but find the lock too stiff. This guy looks and feels perfect, a bit unusual looking but I really like it (the reverse side is stone washed Titanium not G10). The back spring is stiff but that's fine for me on a knife designed to be open and closed with two hands. This has become my knife of choice in areas where blade length and locking and/or one hand opening are issues.

beautiful, but.....
I know this is an excellent knife because it is designed by a Dane, but, does this knife have G-10 scales on BOTH sides or just the obverse, as it is with all of his other knives (which are frame locks)?
