BO110620: Anso 67

Pocketknife by Boker. With the model "67", Jens Anso presents another successful frame lock design, manufactured by Boker. The layout is similar to the “Haddock,” with a 3mm thick titanium liner and a front G-10 scale. The removable thumb stud and the reversible clip (tip-up/tip-down) make this exclusive design complete, combining ruggedness and a simple construction with a unique and expressive design. The blade is made of high quality N690BO steel. Blade length: 3 1/2". Overall length: 7 5/8". Weight: 4.5 oz. Made in Solingen, Germany.

Unique Looks; Solid Performance
I have used this knife for several months now as an EDC. It's modified Wharncliff blade has performed flawlessly from cutting up heavy cardboard crate packaging (and heavy strapping) to food preparation. I have only had to touchup the blade with a diamond rod to return the edge to the keen sharpness it had right from the box. The knife is robust in the hand but comfortable; the frame lock is a bit stiff on closing the blade, but lockup is rock solid. Boker's collaboration with Jens Anso is a winner. If you're looking for a hard working yet attractive EDC, give this knife some serious thought.

Fantastic German quality & excellent Anso features.
Just got this as a gift from a friend, this is easily up in the top 5 of my favorite "factory" made knives in my collection. The Ti framelock is ROCK solid, the G10 perfectly machined, & the Bohler steel blade was impeccably shaving sharp out of the box. Pocket clip is nice & wide, & fairly well placed, a nice extra is that the other holes tapped for reversing the clip come with an extra set of screws pre-installed. The dark stonewash finish looks rugged & attractive, though as another customer noted, the look won't be for everybody, especially those who prefer the super clean look of highly polished bladesteel. I think it looks great though. The 67 comes in a super nice gift box & mine included a "Benchmade style" soft cloth bag (Red w/ Boker logo) to store the knife in. My favorite feature is the burly, oversized thumbstuds that make deploying the blade very easy. The knife rides comfortable & fairly discretely in the pocket, & doesn't look like a typical "tactical folder", at a glace in the pocket. The unique clip & shape might cause onlookers to either ignore it, or assume it's a multi-tool or other device. This is classic Jens Anso @ a fraction of the cost, & Boker's German translation of Anso's unique lines is spot-on. This is the type of knife i would try to replace immediately if it were ever lost. I'm tempted now to pick up the limited "orange peel" handle variation, because I am so fond of this knife overall.
