BO2525AB: Appaloosa Trapper
Appaloosa - tough, dependable, spirited. This series of traditional pocket knives is dedicated to the famous Appaloosa horse. Characterized by their incredible strength and stamina, these horses can be distinguished by their unique coloring - various shades of brown and white, in the form of irregular spots. This was the inspiration for the beautifully structured bone handles Boker chose for this series. The dark and light spots on the scales make each knife truly unique. Boker also designed a special Boker shield, exclusively for this premium series. Blades are made of C-75 carbon steel. 4.25" closed. Made in Germany.

great pocket knife
I have carried this knife for a few days, and overall I have been very satisfied. The bone scales look really nice, and the construction is solid. The sharpness out of the box was decent but not great. I was able to put a shaving sharp edge on both blades without too much difficulty using a diamond bench stone and spyderco sharpmaker. The blades are slightly off center when closed so each blade barely grazes the outside liner near the tip. This does not cause a problem if you close the knife carefully, but snapping it closed could cause the edge to hit the liner.
