A classic...Get on while you can!
I have had several versions of this knife: Red jigged bone, Appaloosa bone, Delrin. The scale materials differed, but all of them had the same carbon steel blades, and all of them were put together like Swiss watches. Great walk and talk. Easy to sharpen, nice patina formed on all of them. I don't have any of them anymore. All were lost, or stolen. Those are the only reasons I don't have them. It would take a lifetime to wear one out. As long as you are getting one of the Solingen made knives, I recommend them highly. I don't know anything about the Chinese versions that are being made now, But I have used other Chinese pocket knives, and I find their stainless to be brittle, and I prefer carbon steel anyway. Get one of these while you still can. You can tell by the price, as the Chinese version run about 30 dollars. They also only say Boker on the tang. The German knives are marked Solingen on the tang.
