Buck Bantam
I wanted a new EDC knife slightly larger that what I used to carry, a Gerber 500. I was not dissapointed With the new Buck Bantam. It is light weight and the pocket clip is a plus and works well. It came from Knife Center a day earlier than predicted and I began carrying it that day. I also wanted a knife that was not an intmidating black color (for some reason I have run into that a few times). So, with that in mind, I got the White Head Hunterz model. I really like the antler touch on the handles. The knife came very sharp. I have downgraded the knife because the ease of opening seems ungeometric in my hand and it was pretty stiff when I first got it but is wearing in now and becomming easier with use. I wish the pocket clip was reversible since it seems to me that I need to reposition the knife in my hand before I am able to use the thumb stud effectively. I have used other assisted opening folders that are easier. Yes, I would buy it again.

Great value,and Great EDC!!
These Buck Bantams are solid, very practical, edc folders, that are very affordable.I have this one,the 285 model, and am next getting the slightly larger 286.For the price you WILL NOT find a better folder.US Made, solid lock up,no blade play on mine at all. These are perfect knives for your everyday tasks.Nothing fancy,no "super steel",or a fancy name,or 4 or 5 inch blade.Just a simple straight forward knife, that works.Great Bargain.
