Great EDC Rescue Knife
This knife came razor sharp. The feel in your hand is immediately comfortable. The lock mechanism takes a little bit to get used to, but works well. Very easy to use one handed and that's what it's all about. Whether in the outdoors or in the urban jungle, this knife is great to have on hand to cut yourself free if you're strung up or free someone else, by cutting the webbing on their harness or seatbelt. To me, this is a 'work knife', I have it for a purpose and not just for the sake of having a knife. It is not for random jobs like cutting cardboard (like some people mention in knife reviews), I have it as a rescue knife, knowing that it will get used most likely in my outdoor activities or in and around my home community. This knife is set up for right handed use (predominantly). It's not impossible to open it with your left hand, but you certainly have to be creative. The pocket clip is very strong, but not to the point of preventing you from using it. I don't tend to use the clip, but have left it on the knife all the same.As I never wear gloves, I can't say what it would be like to use in a gloved hand - nor will I speculate. For me, this is exactly what I wanted and I plan to order more to put with my various backpacks and kits (and I'm sure I will loose some of them along the way).
