A Beauty!
I know Buck knives are well made (having owned several over the past 40+ years), but when I saw this one, with gorgeous wood and brass fixtures, I had to have it, just to look at it. I got a great price on it, and since I won't be using it, it will indeed last forever! (or at least until it is passed down to my Grandson!)

Nice! Beautiful! Sharp!
This was a present for my oldests son's 12th B-day. This is his first fixed blade knife. He loves it. He can't wait to take it hunting and fishing. The only thing that was not perfect was the handle. It had a slight nick where the inner part of the sheath' snap rubbed it. It didn't bother him though, because it will get plenty more. I plan to cover up the snap with a thin fabric to prevent the finish from being worn off. Not a big deal. I contacted Buck about the issue.
