Cons: Blade Sharpness, None
Great Carry Knife
I use a folder daily - for everything that needs to be cut. Most often it is just opening boxes that arrive in the mail. I like how sturdy this model is and opening and closing the blade has become second nature. The spring assist is smooth and forceful. The bolster lock is positive and secure. I like the heft and the size. The only drawback was the sharpness of the blade when it arrived. No big deal. The blade will take a great edge after a few minutes on the hone. It is one of my favorite carry knives.

A really slick knife
This is probably the best assisted opener to date from Buck. A very interesting bolster lock system, kind of reminds me of those bolster lock releases on Italian and similar stiletto style knives. Keeps the blade from inadvertantly coming open in your pocket, unlikely as that might be to actually happen. Came pretty sharp from the factory, but quickly became a lot sharper, as is the case with any knife I get. Well made and interesting, good size for carry. One of the quickest assisted openers I've seen. I gave it a "4" only because few things fit my definition of "perfect", although this knife is pretty darn close!

Buck Paradigm
This is an exellent EDC and as such I have daily excuese to play with it, the lock is somewhat clumsey when in a hurry and the top flipper is a little to short but all in all a good idea from Buck and it is U.S. made
