Description
BU55: 055 The 55
Buck Knives

A very good idea, now further evolved.

Buck Knives brought a breakthrough to market in 1964 with the 110 Folding Hunter: The first folder that locked open, but could be carried safely and compactly. Now we've updated that classic configuration to the intriguing The 55... an heirloom-sized version of the 110 that could easily become known as "My first Buck knife." It still has a hunting pedigree, but it's an outstanding everyday carry knife. These have brass bolsters and liners, positive lock-open system and handsome woodgrain handles.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Blade Material, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Favorite EDC knife
I'm a suit and tie kind of guy so I can only carry my Buck 110 while hunting or on weekends when I'm in jeans. That's why the 55 is such a perfect every day carry knife for me. It's always in my pocket and no one at work is the wiser. Frankly, like the 110, the lines, the materials and the colors of this knife are gorgeous. You know you're holding a quality piece when this is in your hand.

Of legal size to carry - great quality and finishes - it and my folding hunter are my favorite knives from Buck, then again, most of my knives are buck. An ideal pocket knife

Lovely little knife, I bought it to replace my last one,...taken from me at an airport...dammit! my last one was infact smaller and neater. exact same 'buck' design.. can't find an exact replacement anywhere.
