Description
CA36301: Carhartt TrapperLock with Clip 36301 (10154LC SS)
Case Knives

No two Carhartt knives are exactly alike... and we think that's a good thing. Unlike mass produced products, each knife is shaped, honed, sharpened, and polished under the skillful hand and eye of an artisan to achieve a product that is both collectible and rugged enough for everyday use.

The virtually indestructible synthetic handle of the Single Blade TrapperLock with Clip folding pocket knife has been created to reflect the well-known Carhartt Duck Brown Fabric and is suitable for the harshest conditions.

Hamilton Carhartt was born in 1855 and quickly changed his last name by adding an extra "t" to stand out from other businessmen. Carhartt originally created a garment specifically for railroad workers which had never done before. This started him off creating a standard of excellence to which all others would aspire.

Pros:
Cons:
no detent
The detent hole on mine doesn't match the detent ball. There is no click. Nothing holds the blade closed. I wonder how this slipped through the quality control. XXX- tested, eh? Not what I expect from a over $100 knife. It's a beautiful work knife for some fine work or EDC otherwise. I like its feel and the location of the thumb stud. Maybe better luck with detent on a replacement. No issues with fit and finish besides that.
