Space Age Version of a Classic Vintage Style
This knife comes razor sharp out of the box with Case's amazing stainless steel. Holds an edge well and is great for everything from carving, to opening letters to even food, and is easy to touch up on a strop. The knife is like any other trapper model knife, except this one has smooth carbon fiber scales, which are flat and give it a pleasant look and warm feel. It doesn't offer much traction, but it's not silky smooth either and it's a gentleman's knife, so you aren't going to really be hard using this knife (stabbing anyways.), although it works fairly well when wet for light cutting. It's a great knife, comfy and cool looking and the carbon fiber doesn't absorb anything or scratch easily at all. If you want a Case knife that looks cool and is a good user knife, the carbon fiber series is pretty good choice. I've had mine for about a year now and it's been a great little knife. It doesn't come with a sheath and has no pocket, but Case makes sheaths for their knives. If you like Case knives and have used traditional knives you won't be disappointed with this at all.
