CAS Hanwei Early Dirk 13-1/2" Carbon Steel Blade, Ebony Handle
CISH2363: Early Dirk
This Dirk is patterned after an early model (circa 1700) and is similar in form to earlier ballock knives. The blade is “backed” (single-edged and wedge-shaped in cross section).
Made by Hanwei.
- Forged High-Carbon Blade
- Scabbard included
- Overall: 20"
- Blade Length: 13 1/2"
- Handle Length: 7"
- Weight: 1 lb.
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.
