Pros: Materials, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Handle Material
Very Good Quality and Useability
I bought the Condor as a replacement for a SOGfari whose blade chipped and then broke in two during the first day I used it. I guess the Texas holly is really tough. I am very impressed with the El Salvador. I used it this week cuting more holly. Very sharp and the weight helps with cutting the larger plants. I read a review about the sheath being too small and I agree that it is too difficult to get the machete into and out of the sheath. I like a handle that doesn't feel slick and to me this handle is too slick. The handle also had a small amount of excess material at the mold seams that I sanded to make it smooth. All in all, very high quality in the blade, overall construction and feel.
