Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Finish, Overall Quality, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness
Better than Expected
I bought the Bushlore along with Condor's Kephart knife because I liked both designs. I was pleasently suprised with the Bushlore. As others have said, the sheath is very good, and the fit and finish were better than I expected. The grind on the blade was even side to side and along the length of the blade. While it was not quite as sharp out-of-the-box as I like, it did not take long at all to get the edge where I like it. The handle material was a generic brown but not unattractive. The lanyard hole is a real plus. The contoured handle provides a comfortable grip. The scales were carefully fitted to the knife with no obvious high spots. Using the knife is confortable and it balances well. I never handled earlier versions of this knife, so I cannot compare the current knife with previous iterations. However, the fit and finish on this knife were very good. So, whatever issues people previously had with this knife, Condor seems to have addressed them.
