Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.

Cons: None
Seems like the perfect weight to me!
I've made it a point to read reviews before making purchases, but reserve the right to draw my own conclusions. That being said, I don't understand all the comments regarding the weight, it feels perfect. Now, the fact that I weigh 200 pds, and have performed some form of weight bearing exercise most of my adult life, may have a bit to do with how my opinion was formed. I would also like to add, this knife is sharp, and made short work of some saplings that were growing on the fence behind my house. It got the job done with very little effort, in no time at all! By the way, did I mention that this knife, (if it's even possible), is sexy! I've been a fan of Kabar, and tanto style knives since my days in the Marine Corps, but I have gained a new respect for kukris, all thanks to the Heavy Duty Kukri from CTK!

What is supposed to be here?
I haven't had it long enough to use it for I want it for. I plan to take it on hikes and cross country skiing. I will use it for anything that comes up from cutting branches and brush. I will have it in case of emergencies. I have already thrown it a few times. The butt of the handle chipped. I would like to have a tougher handle.

YES! It's a " Heavy Duty" Kukri
This is one awesome Kukri. The fit and finish is superb. I've only used it to cut through some wood blocks to test it out and was really amazed at how easy this blade can split wood. I'm so pleased with the performance of this knife that I will buy another one. Condor has once again produced another awesome product that was designed to be used. Only thing that I thought was an issue was, the beautiful hardwood handle does get a bit slippery with sweaty or wet hands. Quick fix....wear a pair of light gloves or apply a single layer of grippy tape. It does cover up the lovely hardwood handle but the blade profile and performance will continue to impress you.
