Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Wood Handles
Wood Handles
Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.

Cons: None
very good kukri
This is a very good knife a good tool for your garden or camping. I have cutted some limbs and branches in my garden, even some hard wood like oak, and it was very easy. the knife is not very sharp out of the box but this is good because is a knife made for hard work where a finer edge should damage so no complaint on that point. Overall quality is good altough not perfect ( but for this price you can't ask more) and the leather sheat is excellent. The handle is a bit large for my medium size hand due the huge stock ( 6 mm or 1/4 of inch) so I don't recommand this knife for people with little hand, for every other is highly suggested

Everlasting Kukri
This knife / axe is great. Just remember its lenght does not provide for a very strong hit leaving that all to your own strenght. You will need a longer blade to cut your way in. The Kukri will do cutting down trees just fine and any other small task. Its takes some getting use to do to wieght and shape but I really like it.

Seems like the perfect weight to me!
I've made it a point to read reviews before making purchases, but reserve the right to draw my own conclusions. That being said, I don't understand all the comments regarding the weight, it feels perfect. Now, the fact that I weigh 200 pds, and have performed some form of weight bearing exercise most of my adult life, may have a bit to do with how my opinion was formed. I would also like to add, this knife is sharp, and made short work of some saplings that were growing on the fence behind my house. It got the job done with very little effort, in no time at all! By the way, did I mention that this knife, (if it's even possible), is sexy! I've been a fan of Kabar, and tanto style knives since my days in the Marine Corps, but I have gained a new respect for kukris, all thanks to the Heavy Duty Kukri from CTK!
