Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Wood Handles
Wood Handles
Provides a traditional, natural look and feel to a modern tool. Wood absorbs shock well and is popular in axe handles.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
Great Multipurpose Knife
This Kukri is truly heavy duty and better suited to New Zealand conditions than a lighter Machete. It has the penetrating ability of a hatchet and greater versatility. The build quality is robust and should last a lifetime. A nice use of traditional materials when there is a lot of plastic out there. Highly Recommended.

Pros: Overall Quality, Sheath/Scabbard, None
Cons: Finish
Not entirely as pictured
The edge between the gray finish and grind isn't perfectly straight. It looks rough and scratchy, but not too ugly. Though the first one I bought had scratches over the gray finish. CTK sent me a new knife straight from El Salvador. I can baton through an oak log with it so I'm happy.
