Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Finish
This is certainly not the biggest machete out there, nor is it the best chopper. However, like with other Condors I've used, this one shows quality craftsmanship throughout. Putting the weight forward into the tip does give this machete more power than a 16" blade would otherwise have, and the good steel Condor employs can take and hold a keen & sturdy edge. The poly handle is comfortable enough and allows for a lanyard (important for chopping). My favorite part of this machete is its second edge, which means it can do twice the work before resharpening! Alternately, you can keep one edge thinner for finer tasks and one thicker for heavy hitting. The double edge ended up being a lot more useful than I expected it would be. This is a fine choice for a camp machete!
