Condor Tool & Knife CTK414-18HC Thai Enep Machete 18" Carbon Steel Bla
This is a great product. I use it to make trails to tree stands, cut overhead limbs, and basically all brush clearing jobs. It came sharp, and with a quality leather sheath. It seems pretty well balanced, but I do have to grip the handle closer to the blade for the most balance when cutting. It seems to be the perfect weight, sturdy, but not too heavy. It has a nice wood handle, though it does get a little slippery once you get really sweaty. I made a loop with paracord for my wrist for this reason....

dandy. just dandy.
Good fit and finish, and the blade has held up well. I convexed the edge for durability, and oil the blade when I'm done. Beyond that, I've beaten it to death on shrub, bush, briars, and trees the diameter of my arm. It does the job dandy. Excellent for a brush clearing tool.

Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Finish, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: None
Very nice for multiple tasks
I have only used it a short time but thought that it was perfect for my needs. It can take care small diameter and medium diameter trees as well as chop larger ones. There may be better choices for individual tasks, however this does many of them well. The machete is made very well with quality materials and workmanship. The blade has a "V" edge apposed to convex found on other Condor machetes.
